People cannot move about Miami safely because of careless, distracted, or homicidal drivers.


Increase penalties for speed and intersection violations, and increase enforcement of penalties by automation (red-light and speed cameras). Channel all proceeds from the increased penalties to proven infrastructure changes that improve human safety and reduce the likelihood of being killed by a car when venturing outside.

Mandate further technological controls over the driving privileges of repeat offenders - speed governors or electronic driving behavior snitches - controls on smartphones that disable their screens while the car is in motion - attention catching signage on the offenders car, "Caution, driver of this vehicle known to drive like an asshole!"
